After completing voice and music theory at "The Philadelphia
Music Academy", Harriet signed on for a two ( 2 ) years
road tour with Philly Groove Recording Artists "Raw
Image".

In the 1973, Harriet formed her own band 'POSH' and was
formerly recognized for being the # 1 female Jazz Singer
in Philadelphia.

In 1980, Harriet entered the U.S. Army where she entertained
throughout her career. While stationed at the West Point
Military Academy, she began teaching Theater and Voice.
She received high recognition for the award winning programs
which were developed by her.

Harriet was also called upon to perform for Dignitaries
from such countries as Japan, Africa, Korea, France and
the U.S., sharing the stage with the likes of Charlie Byrd
Trio, Gregory Hines, George Benson, Earl Klugh, Jennifer
Holiday and many many others.

After her arrival in Stuttgart, Germany, Harriet began touring
Germany's Club and Hotel circuit. This exposed her to some
of the top musicians in Germany which resulted in her meeting
Pops Wilson and performing with his Orchestra. Here was
a chemistry that magic is made of and it was this magic
that lead to the recording of their CD "A touch of
elegance".

Harriet has now completed her thirteenth CD, see whole collection

She

Through the success of her music, Harriet is recognized
as "The Best Soul, Blues, Jazz singer" in Europe
with a Deutscher Rock & Popmusikverband e.v. 1995 Music
Oscar to her credit.
As
an artist, Harriet Lewis is dedicated to fueling the light
that emanates from her star, by perfecting her craft through
study and a constant review of the quality of her performances.
It
is said from following fans that, Harriet will enter her
audience like a Princess. Then she will leave her audience
as a QUEEN.
